The generous support of the Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie enables us to offer limited lodgings included in the Forum fee. These are mixed dorm rooms that each sleep five people in bunk beds. Toilets and bathrooms are shared, so please expect a very simple accommodation.
If the beds are already full, we can accommodate a few more sleepers on mattresses; for this, it will be necessary to bring your own bedding or sleeping bag.
If this is not to your liking or if the limited number of beds are already all taken, you will need to provide your own accommodation.
The closest hotels to the LEA are the MYK Mayen, a modern-style, self-check-in apartment hotel, or as a more classic option the Hotel Jägerhof. Both are about 500 m walking distance from the lab. The city of Mayen also offers as service an accommodation list, accessible via this website (German language). For a budget accommodation option, you can also stay at the Mayen Youth Hostel.
